Waikiki Shore is the only
condo in Waikiki that sits directly on
Waikiki beach, fronting 50 linear feet of the beach, with all other beachfront properties in Waikiki being hotels. Step out of the lobby's south end and you are on a pristine white sandy beach - it is a rather spectacular feel.
Waikiki Shore is a condo hotel and short-term vacation renting is allowed, making it popular among investors as well as second home owners who want to enjoy when visiting and otherwise generate income, by running a short-term rental business.
The building has a long, narrow design and sits perpendicular to the ocean. All units feature a balcony that face Fort DeRussy Park (west facing), with several units, especially on the higher floors, capturing dramatic ocean views. The 00 stack units, the only south facing stack in the building, come with an over-sized balcony facing south with unobstructed picture perfect ocean views in addition to a balcony facing west, like all other stacks. Year 2021, an 00 stack sold for almost $5,000 per interior sq ft, making it the most expensive per interior sq ft sale in Honolulu ever (at least at the time of the sale).
The east (Diamond Head) side of the building is an open air walkway (no balconies on this side of the building), which allows for great cross breeze ventilation.
A typical floor plate has 12 units - 4 x Studio, 5 x 1 Bedroom and 3 x 2 Bedroom and only a few come with a deeded parking stall (most
condo hotels do not have parking stalls).
Waikiki Shore is right next to 72-acre Fort DeRussy Beach Park, in front of
Trump Tower and steps away from
Waikiki Beach Walk Shops, the
Royal Hawaiian Center,
Halekulani Hotel and much more.
