Waikiki Beach Tower is a one of a kind
condo hotel (short-term vacation renting allowed) located on Kalakaua Ave, right across the street from a central part of
Waikiki's Beach. The building is set back about 150 ft from Kalakaua Ave making it feel more private, despite its location on a very busy and popular section of Kalakaua Ave. One can access the building either via Kalakaua Ave, a long and inviting walking path, or from Liliuokalani Ave via car or on foot. access points are on land not owned by Waikiki Beach Tower - leased land from neighboring land owners, which means the Waikiki Beach Tower Association pays lease rent to such land owners. Adding to this, a section (not all) of the car garage, is also built on land owned by a neighboring land owner, and again, the Association pays lease rent to use such land for the garage. A very unique and interesting setup.
The Units There are only 4 x 2 bedrooms on each floor and all have an over-sized balcony, which is one of the stand out features, hard to find in other
condos in Honolulu. The two units in the middle - 02 and 03 stacks - stick out and for most floors are the preferred units, since they boast the most incredible unobstructed ocean views (02 high floor units being the most magical, as those units capture stunning views of Diamond Head too). The 04 units have ocean views significantly impacted on the lower floors, due to the
Waikiki Circle Hotel. The 01 stack retains great ocean views from most units, however, on the west side, just on the opposite side of Liliuokalani Ave is the
Alohilani Resort, and it impacts the pleasant west facing views up to about the mid level floors.
All units come with washer / dryer in unit, central AC system and a parking stall, If an owner places their unit in the
Aston hotel rental program, it is valet only style parking. Aston has a hotel front desk in the lobby and many owner's opt to use their vacation rental property management services. However, there are other 3rd party property managers who manage a number of units in the building too.
