- Built in 1974, with 20 stories and 128 units of 1 & 2BR floor plans.
- Amenities: Swimming Pool, Recreation Area.
- Pets: Ok (verify).
- Interesting: In Scenic Towers it's the smallest 1BR units that have walk-in closets!
This is one of those
Honolulu condos that confounds expectations. The walk-in closets being found only in the starting sized 1BRs is one example. Here's another that'll surprise you. A general real estate rule of thumb is that lanai sizes generally mirror the interior, going up in size as the interiors do. Not at the Scenic Towers.
Here's how it breaks down:
1BR/1BA, 552 sq ft inside, 52 or 56 sq ft lanais
1BR/1BA, 578 sq ft inside, 112 sq ft lanais
1BR/1BA, 648 sq ft inside, 117 sq ft lanais
2BR/1BA, 725 sq ft inside, 66 sq ft lanais
The largest 1BR has almost the exact same total square footage when interior and exterior spaces are combined.
Whichever floor plan is yours, you can take in the views around you of Diamond Head, the unique pleasures of the city lights, as well as the green-covered slopes of Tantalus and the Koolau Mountains.
The vistas are completely clear due to your building being the tallest structure around, this part of Moiliili still filled with single family homes – many vintage -, small walk-ups and Stadium Park, which sits practically next door to you.
This is a location that provides walkability. Across the street is a longtime local favorite restaurant, Maple Garden, and one block mauka takes you to King St. There you have the pick of restaurants this area is known for, plus Longs, Ross, Down to Earth and Puck's Alley, too.
In addition to Stadium Park, you have Moiliili Neighborhood Park just up the street, where softball and baseball games go on almost every night.
Kapiolani Blvd's and Beretania/King Streets' multiple lanes provide commuting routes that take you Downtown & back, while H1W is easily accessed through University Avenue's entrance a minute or two away. H1E's entrance is right there as well, making it easy to remember where to go, no matter what direction you're going.
Move into Scenic Towers and enjoy the low-rise, local neighborhood and the wide-angle views that come from being the big guy on the block. That's what we call a Win-Win.
