Address:
2029 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu, HI 96817.
The Sakura is more than meets the eye. It is best known to non-residents for the Japanese rock garden with the bridge over it that is the entrance to this condo's tower. Anyone who's driven by it can't help but remember the sight.
The property is actually 2 buildings. One a low-rise, 3 story walkup and the other being the more prominent 16 story building.
The low-rise, built in 1962 has just 9 units. 3 with 1BR/1BA (448 sq ft) and 6 2BR/1BA (700 sq ft). Lanais in this part of The Sakura range from 40 to 90 sq ft, with views of the green Nuuanu neighborhood and gardens around you.
Shift over to the tower and you'll find a uniform 120 residences of 1BR/1BA (590 sq ft) on its floors. Though not every one has a lanai, those that do have a nice 92 sq ft to relax in the cooler temperatures of Nuuanu. The height you live at opens up views of Oahu's mountains, the city lights' twinkling and off to the ocean. You may even have Sunrise and Sunset views to amaze you at the bookends of each day.
It's a mere few minutes
Downtown for your daily commute, H1's entrance is even closer and you can be on the Pali's green passage to the Windward Side in no time, too.
It's all part of the experience of living at the Sakura. No matter which building you call home.
