Welcome to the Makikian, one of the safest residences on Oahu because you live just across from Firestation 03. Anything happens, help is literally next door. There's more to love here than that exceptional level of safety, though.
What you'll notice on driving up to this location on the corner of Wilder and Piikoi immediately is the thick greenery and trees all around the property. That only gets better when you enter the area inside a true Hawaii security perimeter - lava wall topped by bamboo fencing.
There you walk into your recreation area, shaded by large trees, featuring the swimming pool and bbq area. Topped off by tiki torches that set the mood perfectly for a wonderful tropical evening with family and friends.
The condos all are 1BR/1BA with layouts of 412 and 470 sq ft. You won't find lanais, but the larger floor plans have something a little different in them. Head to the bedroom, found in the back of the unit, where you'll find your personal space is 3 steps down from the main level. It's a distinctive touch to your home that elevates what would be a more typical residence.
There are no lanais here, though the views are still good for a low-rise due to your neighbors being being only as tall as you or shorter.
Despite this being basically a bedroom community, you have only 1 ½ blocks separating you from Makiki Shopping Village, where you'll find the Village Market convenience store, the plate lunches of Makiki Inn, Sure Shot Cafe and other attractions.
Equally convenient is H1W's entrance just down Pensacola St and the side heading east is entered just off Piikoi, a couple of minutes away from you. Beretania and King Streets run approx. 6 or 7 blocks makai, taking you right into work Downtown, too. Bus riders have almost their own personal stop almost on the condo's property, so close is it.
