Most will be unfamiliar with this building, even if they live in the same are of Moiliili. It's hidden back at the convergence of 2 small side streets that spring off of King St and University Ave. The kind of streets everyone passes by on their way, never wondering what may actually be down them. Their loss.
Kings Gate brings features to real estate buyers that make it stand out from most
Honolulu condos for sale. The amenities list above is solid, as you've probably noticed, providing something for everyone. Families have their BBQ and Recreation Area, Keiki get a playground to use that's safely on-site, Active Adults can use the Fitness Room and Tennis Court. Whoever you are in the mix, there's almost certainly an option that caught your eye.
That broad appeal also applies to the units themselves at Kings Gate. Singles, Couples or Families all have a floor plan that fits here. Studio (401 sq ft), 1BR/1BA (791 sq ft) and 2BR/2BA (817 to 1056 sq ft) variations are all under the roof of this building.
The views go out across the city as well as Waikiki and Diamond Head and the green, green Koolau Mountains. All of this comes right inside through your floor-to-ceiling windows as well as lanai spaces.
Your location at the King St/University Ave intersection puts a lot of conveniences within an easy walk – Long's, the Post Office, Down to Earth, Puck's Alley plus the nice selection of restaurants this stretch is known for.
Need to get to work Downtown? H1 West's on-ramp is about one block mauka. H1 East? Just as close, maybe even closer. In addition to the main streets of University and King, Beretania St is right there as well, so your driving choices are about as good as they get.
In the interest of full disclosure, there are no guest parking spots, so street parking must be used by any of your visitors. On balance, though, that doesn't outweigh the positives on its own.
What will decide it for you is a closer examination of the property and the available listing itself, of course. Kings Gate has at least earned that.
