Kapiolani Towers, despite the plural, is one building, standing a little less than halfway between Kalakaua Ave and where Kanunu St terminates right at WalMart on Keeaumoku St. It's an easy walk to that gigantic store, but that's nothing compared to the short distance between you and Don Quixote. One crosswalk is all that separates you from its huge selection of food and products.
Before you do cross, let's look at the residences here, which have an interesting range of layouts. There's only 1 Studio, but it stands out from comparable
Honolulu condos with its 881 sq ft of space. From there you go on to the 1BR/1BA (698 or 700 sq ft) and 2BR/1BA (795 or 953 sq ft) units that make up the dominant varieties found here. That leaves just 1 3BR/2BA, which follows the Studio's pattern of generous proportions with 1642 sq ft inside it.
The lanais are a solid feature of your home, the 1BRs having 102 sq ft outside of their own and the 2BRs' measuring either 120 or 198 sq ft on theirs. You'll be able to sit and enjoy the day, or night, from your personal perch.
The views include the soothing night lights of the city, the Koolau Mountains' emerald peaks and the majestic sentry of Oahu, Diamond Head herself.
When it's time to get out of the house, you can walk to an incredible number of nearby places. WalMart, Sam's Club and Ala Moana Center will take care of all shopping, from needs to wants. Ala Moana, as well as King and Keeaumoku Streets, are full of dining adventures, too, that will never run out of new places to try.
Those who want something more recreational can grab a towel and go to 24 Hour Fitness, Planet Fitness or the wide sands and cool waters at Ala Moana Beach Park. No car needed so no parking stress.
It's a stroller's paradise here at Kapiolani Towers, where you'll trade gas expenses for the more attractive price of comfortable shoes.
