About Village Green The Village Green condos sit just off Hawaii Kai Drive, set back from where the marina waters end their push north toward the mountains. Though they can be called condos, they are actually townhomes, with split-level floor plans that put the living areas and bedrooms on different stories.
They are still popular despite being a little older, in part because of the fact that these units, and the entire complex, have been well-maintained from the beginning. The sizes don't hurt their appeal, either. The 3BRs, which have 2BAs as well, vary in size, but only very slightly, from 1305 to 1313 sq ft. The 4BRs, also with 2BAs, have a greater range, but still not a huge difference, going from 1368 up to 1484 sq ft.
There's also terrace lanais on each one, perfect for having friends and family over for a good time together or it can be the retreat you need in the cool evening to enjoy the unbeatable Hawaii nighttime.
The location, that most important of factors, is excellent as well. Set back here, you're near to the main artery of Kalanianaole Hwy, but you live away from its activity and traffic.
Hawaii Kai Shopping Center is just up Hawaii Kai Drive, with Safeway, Long's Drugs and more than a few other shops and eateries, plus Costco, too. A 5 minutes drive will get you to Koko Marina, with a huge selection of stores and restaurants as well as a movie theater. You don't need to go far from home to get all your daily errands done.
Just about every other need can be fulfilled from here just as quickly.
Hanauma Bay and
Sandy Beach are just up the road for those days when you hear the waters calling. Koko Head is even closer, its reputation for exercise and hiking pleasures well deserved.
The local schools –
Hahaione Elementary,
Niu Valley Middle and
Kaiser High School – all have outstanding reputations, fitting the final piece for parents looking for a good place to buy a home.
If one thing more is needed to get your attention, the owner-occupancy is extremely high at Village Green, over 80% at this writing. That one fact says it all. This is a place homeowners want to live.
