Honua Kai’s property sits right on the north end of the 3 mile long
Kaanapali Beach, easily one of the best beaches on Maui.
The gated community consists of 2 towers and a neighborhood of low-rise villas, residents have the same amenities as vacationers, bringing a higher level of options to daily life.
Hokulani & Konea Towers The 2 U-shaped towers are both beachfront, approximately 200 feet from the sand. Konea holds the main resort lobby with the front desk, run by
Outrigger Resorts company for owners opting in to the hotel program, and the concierge. The concierge can help arrange activities, outings or other needs you may have, such as holding a special event in the resort’s facilities.
Most of these residences have ocean views, from partial to fully unobstructed. The three-bedrooms have the best, direct outlooks onto the Pacific.
Hokulani has studio to three-bedroom units with interiors of 583 to 2,650 Sq Ft. Konea also has studio to three-bedroom layouts, measuring 580 to 2,770 Sq Ft. Some 1 bedroom floor plans in both have a den as well. Every condo has central A/C and a lanai.
The two condominiums have underground parking with each studio/one-bedroom/two-bedroom unit allowed to use one stall in the lot’s unassigned spaces. three-bedroom residences have 1 assigned space in a reserved section specifically for them.
The towers each have their own respective courtyard centerpieces. Hokulani has a koi fish pond that draws crowds every morning for the 8:30am feeding. Konea’s courtyard holds a large fire pit that is lit up every night. Both buildings have 3 elevators in the lobby area, with 1 more in each of the wings.
Luana Garden Villas The Luana Garden Villas all have 2,047 Sq Ft interiors with a small lanai off both of the 2 larger bedrooms, as well as one larger lanai of 365 – 389 sq ft off the living area. Certain residences have partial ocean views from them.
Homes all have central air conditioning and their own one-car garage, with an additional uncovered space in the driveway.
The 18 buildings are grouped into 3 enclaves, each one with a pool, hot tub & fire pit, reserved for those homes to use, at the center. They also have distinctly different flora in each. Enclave 1, called the Hawaiian Garden, is planted with
akia,
kamani and
puakenikeni. The 2nd, called the Floral Garden, features
gardenias, rainbow showers and
blue agapanthus. The 3rd, Coastal Garden, has
pohinahina and
morning glories.
The Villas have use of the tower amenities, including the aquatic complex, along with those in their own enclave.
Amenities & Things To Do North Kaanapali Beach is the place to start, the section in front of Honua Kai known for its snorkeling and stand up paddling, with sea turtles being a frequent sight.
The resort’s aquatic complex takes up 3 acres of the property that looks out at the ocean. The complex has 3 large pools that include a lazy river, waterslide, a shallow pool with a sandy ‘beach’, kid’s fountain play area and waterfalls.
A 3,000 sq ft, full service spa is on the ground floor of Konea providing massage and skin care treatments.
Duke’s Beach House restaurant is the closest structure to the water, its open-air dining room serving all 3 meals with views of the Pacific from every seat.
The fitness center is available 24 hours and residents enjoy resort privileges like valet parking, concierge and laundry service.
