- Today’s Princeville was built on former plantation and cattle ranch lands, its first condominium, Hale Honu, opening in 1971. New projects were built over the decades since, into the 2000s.

20 Princeville Condo Communities Oceanfront Princeville Condos (5)- Alii Kai at Hanalei – Oceanfront property. Condos have mountain and/or ocean views. Alii Kai I is on the bluff, so it tends to have better views of the Pacific. All buildings are curved in shape. Amenities include 2 pools, tennis court, recreation area.

- Cliffs at Princeville – Built in 1980. Oceanfront community. 204 1, 2 & 4BR units in 10 3-story buildings. Some 1BRs have a loft area. The Cliffs operate as a resort property, providing housekeeping, concierge, activities desk and other services. Not Oceanfront Princeville Condos (15)- Emmalani Court – Built in 1992. 42 1 - 3BR in 5 2-story buildings. The community sits against the Makai Golf Course fairway, with the ocean beyond it. Most condos have a view of the Pacific. Amenities include pool, jacuzzi, clubhouse, meeting room, BBQs.
- Hale Honu – Built in 1971. 20 2 & 3BR, 2-story townhome units in 10 2-story buildings. Deep green forest surrounds the complex on 3 sides. Amenities include a recreation area.
- Hale Moi - Built in 1980. 40 1BR units in 10 2-story buildings. Some condos have a loft area as well. Kenomene Ocean Sunset Outlook, one of Traveler magazine’s Top 10 spots to watch the sunset, is across the street. Residences have views of the mountains. Amenities include BBQs.
- Hanalei Bay Resort – Built in 1975. 137 1 to 3BR units in 17 3-story buildings. Some condos have lock-off doors and separate entrances for vacation rental guests. Views of the bay and/or the mountains from residences. Amenities include 2 pools, jacuzzi, 8 tennis courts, fitness center, concierge, clubhouse, BBQs.

Almost 3 sides of the community is surrounded by the green Anini Valley, with a golf course fairway bordering the remaining. A ½ mile lighted walking path with water features along it runs inside the property. Amenities include 3 pools, 3 pavilions, spa, BBQs. Gated community.
- Kamahana – Built in 1979. 30 2 & 3BR, single level units in 10 2-story buildings. Residences have ocean, mountain and golf course views. Many units have lock-off doors & separate entrances for rental use. Amenities include pool, clubhouse, BBQ.
- Nihilani at Princeville Resort – Built in 2005. 102 2 & 3 BR, 1 & 2-story units in 34 2-story buildings. Every residence has an attached 2-car garage. The homes on one side of the community line the fairway of Makai Golf Course. Amenities include pool, spa, pavilion, BBQs.
- Plantation at Princeville – Built in 2004. 68 2 & 3BR units in 17 2-story buildings. 2BR condos are on the 1st floor of each building, the 3BRs taking the 2nd floor. Residences on the south side of the community have golf course views. Amenities include pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, clubhouse, BBQ.
- Princeville Mauna Kai – Built in 1975. 46 2 & 3BR , 1 & 2-story units in 11 2 & 3-story buildings. Open layout that features extremely high ceilings & floor-to-ceiling windows. Mountain and ocean views from these residences. Close proximity to Anini Beach. Amenities include a heated pool, recreation area, BBQs.
- Princeville Paniolo – Built in 1979. 26 1BR units in 10 2-story buildings. A few standalone units here. Different floor plans have unique features such as a loft area or sunken living & dining rooms. Amenities include pool, spa, recreation area, BBQ.

- Villas on the Prince – Built in 2002. 41 3BR units in 16 2-story buildings. Community is located just inside the entrance to Princeville. The southern side residences line the Prince Golf Course. Amenities include a pool. Gated community.
- Villas of Kamalii – Built in 2002. 59 3BR, 2-story townhome units in 27 2-story buildings. Community sits along Makai Golf Course’s 27th hole. Every condo has a private garage and views of the mountains. Amenities include pool, spa, BBQs.
Life in Princeville- Princeville is an active community. Local events and gatherings are held regularly, from 3 weekly farmers markets to monthly Arts & Crafts fairs and live Hawaiian music every Friday at the Makai Golf Club.
- There are hiking trails for every skill level. Casual walkers have the lighted Princeville Center-to-1 Hotel Hanalei Bay Path for exercise on the grounds, while serious hikers can take on the Okolehao Trail or the 26-mile Powerline Trail.
- There’s always the beach nearby, with at least 4 to choose from on the property.
- You also live next to the Makai and Prince Golf Courses that many argue are the 2 best courses in all of Hawaii.
- With 2 parks, plentiful dining choices and a shopping center – with a grocery store – all inside the community, much of your needs are taken care of in walking or biking distance.
