The Waikomo Stream Villas are in an inland area of Poipu, but still only about 300 yards from the coastline. As the name suggests, the Waikomo Stream flows through the property’s western side.
The condos have interiors ranging from 996 to 1,400 Sq Ft with one covered lanai on the outside. The two bedrooms, which are all on the top floor, have a loft that holds the second bedroom with its own bathroom and closet space. Units each have one uncovered parking stall to use. Some residences have installed split a/c systems, while others use only ceiling fans to cool off inside.
Although set back from the coast, there are units who have a view of the ocean, especially the two bedrooms. There are no elevators in the complex, all of the buildings are walk-ups.
Amenities & Things To Do Just across the road from home is
The Shops at Kukuiula, which has more than 40 shops and dining options. Longs Drugs is there, too, which makes a lot of common needs easy to fulfill.
Baby Beach is only ½ mile away. There’s enough room to relax on the sand, despite the name. Its waters are crystal clear as well and both swimmers and snorkelers come here daily.
The trip to
Kiahuna Beach is a little longer at about ¾ miles, but it’s a bigger beach with more activity, due to being in front of the Sheraton, yet it rarely gets truly crowded. The waters are usually calm so swimming and snorkeling are good here, as well as surfing. That can change, though, so exercise caution.
For scuba divers,
Koloa Landing is also ½ mile from you. Used as a deep water port previously, this is now an excellent diving spot easily accessed right from shore.
The Villas’ swimming pool provides an even easier way to get into the water, including a kiddie pool area to enjoy with the little ones.
