Poipu Makai is an oceanfront property right on the coastline, approx. 25 yards from the waves.
The two and three bedroom condos have interiors measuring from 1,023 to 1,590 Sq Ft with one lanai on the outside. Of the 15 units, 10 are two bedroom/single-level. The other 5 are three bedrooms with a second story loft that holds an open sitting-room space, a bedroom/bathroom and closets. Parking is a mix of uncovered stalls or in the parking garage, each residence assigned one space.
Like much of Kauai, ceiling fans are used as the cooling system inside these units. There is no elevator, this is a walk-up building. All of the condos have ocean views from partial to completely unobstructed.
Amenities & Things To Do Brennecke’s Beach is ½ mile to the west, a good place for most to lay out on the sand due to the stronger swells here. This is a place for more advanced surfers to get in, though you can probably do some wading.
Another 1/5 mile further on is
Poipu Beach Park, the main local beach that has easier-to-enjoy waters and a longer stretch of sands, too. There’s also some BBQs and picnic tables on the grassy area of the park to use.
To the east from Poipu Makai is
Shipwreck Beach, about ¾ mile that way. These are calmer waters, too, so you can get some swimming in and there’s some snorkeling spots as well. The cliffs you’ll see are beautiful, but they’re known best for the divers who jump from them into the ocean at every sunset.
Right on the back of your own building you have a plunge pool always ready to cool you off or to relax beside whenever needed.
