Manualoha is a community in the Poipu Kai Resort, its westernmost building sitting only about 100 yards from Brennecke’s Beach.
The one to three bedroom condos have interiors that measure from 852 to 1,783 Sq Ft and one or two lanais exterior. The one-bedroom units, a few of which have a loft area, are all on the ground floor, the two and three bedrooms, which are all two-story townhomes, are on the second floor.
Residences each have either a 1-car carport or one assigned, uncovered stall for their parking. Ceiling fans are almost exclusively the cooling system in these units, with a very few split a/c systems installed. There are no elevators in the complex, all of the buildings are walk-ups. Some of these homes have partial ocean views from them.
Amenities & Things To Do The Manualoha’s neighborhood pool is on the western end of the property, easily accessible from home. It also looks out at
Brennecke’s Beach and the waves, just yards away. The pool’s waters are calmer than Brennecke’s, which are recommended for experienced surfers and bodyboarders due to the strength of the swells there. You can still lay out on the sands there and soak up the sun and the scenery, though.
Shipwreck Beach is the other nearby coastline, under a mile to your east. One of Poipu Kai’s walking paths runs just north of Manualoha, which you can follow right to the sands. These are friendlier waves, so swimming, snorkeling and surfing can be done here without requiring as much skill. At the extreme eastern end of Shipwreck Beach you’ll see green cliffs extending into the ocean. Every day at sunset you can watch divers leap off from there, a local ritual to cap off the day.
As a Poipu Kai Resort homeowner, you have the use of many of the resort’s amenities, such as its main pool, the 8 tennis/pickleball courts and the restaurant/sports bar.
