People Behind the Project
The land, where Kahuina is to be built, is owned by Kamehameha Schools and they have teamed up with
Stanford Karr to be the developer of Kahuina. Stanford Karr is a highly respected Hawaii based developer and they have previously developed 3 other projects in Kakaako, including
Keauhou Place, a property in Our Kakaako.
A total of 9 lots are to be developed with residential high-rise towers in Our Kakaako with a large amount of commercial on ground levels, and so far 3 projects are completed in the 1st phase:
The Collection,
Keauhou Place and
400 Keawe. The 2nd phase includes the remaining 5 structures:
Alia,
Kaliu, Kahuina and 2 projects that are TBD.

Amenities
A recreation deck will be located on top of the 9-story parking structure and will feature a pool, spa, fitness center, recreation room, barbecue area, kitchen, outdoor showers, children’s play area, and bicycle storage.
