Most of the time this is held on the front lawn of the Blaisdell Concert Hall. It’s easy to spot the tents and people right on the King St side of the complex. Every once in a while, due to events inside the Hall, it shifts to the parking lot on the Ward Ave side by the Arena, so be aware. Parking is free and abundant at the Center, so you’re good to go. The entrance to that is also on King St, a right turn immediately as you pass the the Concert Hall. Like most Hawaii farmers markets, eating is a big part of it and it’s no accident that this event happens right at dinner time. The organizers know their audience. More than a few of the local restaurants regularly have booths here, so that should tell you something. Families like to bring towels & chairs to sit and enjoy their meals as the sun sets. They sit on the comfortable and well kept grass, talk story and drink in another beautiful Island evening. There’s also all the usual farmer’s market offerings, of course – greens, fruit and local products like honey and jams to browse through. The produce prices still beat most supermarkets, which is a good reason alone to come. Then celebrate your savings with a tasty meal!
