Mahiku runs a few events around the Island, including the ones at King’s Village & Hyatt in Waikiki (see above). This is their entry on the West side of Oahu. With usually 7 or 8 vendors total, it’s the smallest of their markets. That’s understandable since it’s one you need to get to – most won’t just come across it.
To get to this market you will go through a Navy base gate, but they’ll let you through so don’t let it stop you. The location is in a neighborhood with the tents right on the water. This is a great vista to enjoy not only while shopping, it’s also a great dining backdrop. Grab something from one of the food booths, walk a few steps and you’ve got something special to look out on with your meal. Buy some produce to take home, or back to your vacation home away from home, to savor later on as well. For those with a real sweet tooth, check out the doughnut truck. NOTE: The Yelp listing still uses a former location address. Please disregard that.
