Royal Kahili sits just across the street from the Pacific in Kona’s
Holualoa Bay area, its buildings as little as 25 yards from the water. Along with its spaced out, low-rise neighbors, it is bordered on its south by open, undeveloped land, covered with greenery.
The two bedroom condos have interiors measuring from 909 to 1,092 Sq Ft with one lanai exterior. Each unit has one assigned parking stall that may be covered or uncovered. Central air conditioning is in every residence. While there are elevators in both buildings, there can be steps between levels on the upper floors to get to your home. The close proximity to the coastline gives many of these condos an ocean view, a few almost completely unobstructed.
Amenities & Things To Do Just 150 yards from your door is the famous
surf spot Banyans, a place for skilled surfers only due to its challenging waves. Still, there’s a small beach here to sit back on and watch the show. Your neighborhood has another famous surfing stop, Lymans, just 350 yards away. There’s no beach here, though there is lava rock to stand on here. From there you can see some great waves and the advanced board riders try to take them on.
To get in the water yourself, head to
Magic Sands Beach Park, which is under a mile from Royal Kahili. The sand coverage on shore rises and falls with the yearly tide cycle, but you can always get in the ocean here. It’s calm enough most of the time for swimming and going out further you’ll find waves to try out if you surf. Not as difficult here as Lymans or Banyans, but you still need to gauge if you’re up to it.
From your own elevated pool and sundeck at the Royal Kahili you can look out to the Pacific and take it all in without ever leaving your complex.
