Off limits to all but WVA members, though, are the village’s pair of tennis/pickleball courts and the Aquatic Center. The center has general swimming hours, but also reserved lap swim times in its 25-yard long lanes and in-water aerobics. A kids pool is inside also for the smaller ones to play safely.
If a little shopping is needed, it’s just one mile to Waikoloa Highlands Center, which has a gas station and grocery store as well as some shops and eateries. An EV charging station, hardware store and a post office are just a little further down Pua Melia St from Highlands, taking care of even more essentials easily.
