Shores at Waikoloa is a gated community in the center of the main, ocean side area of
Waikoloa Beach Resort. It is virtually surrounded by golf course features. The
King’s Course 14th fairway lies along its south, the
Beach Course’s 2nd & 3rd fairways, respectively, line its north and west, and a lava rock field makes up its eastern border, with more fairways beyond that.
The one to four bedroom condos have interiors that range from 822 to 1,938 Sq Ft and large wrap-around lanais that provide more space outside. Parking is mixed, with some buildings having one detached carport space assigned for each residence, others having an assigned, uncovered stall in an adjacent parking area. An elevator is in every building and all units have central air conditioning. Many of these residences have ocean views. In the center of the property there is a large, T-shaped lake feature, with waterfalls.
Amenities & Things To Do Shores at Waikoloa’s recreation center is directly in front of the top of the lake’s ‘T’, including a large swimming pool, spa and fitness center. The community’s two tennis courts can be found in the northeast corner of the property.
The sands of the
Anaehoomalu Beach (aka Waikoloa Beach) sits under a mile south of your neighborhood. Popular with swimmers and stand-up paddlers, this is where to go to relax, take a dip or, as many do, watch the sunset.
Giada’s Beach is closer, at about 0.7 miles. It isn’t sandy in many places, but the waters are cool and fewer people come here, making it a good place to get away from things.
For shopping and dining options, the
King’s Shops (about 40 Shops/Eateries) and
Queen’s Marketplace (close to 50 more), are easily reached one mile away. Queen’s Marketplace also has a three-screen movie theater and an outdoor entertainment venue, Waikoloa Bowl, that holds concerts and performances regularly.
