Kolea Kai (also called Kolea Condo Villas) is part of the gated, oceanfront Kolea community in
Waikoloa Beach Resort. Kolea is the only beachfront residential area in Waikoloa.
The two and three bedroom condos have interiors measuring from 1,270 to 2,147 Sq Ft with one or two lanais of exterior space. The buildings hold either twelve units - ten two-bedroom & two three-bedroom (both ground floor) - or six, all of them three-bedroom. Elevators are in every building. However, the six-plexes have two private, secured elevators (one in each stack) that open in the foyer of the residences. The twelve-plex buildings have one that serves the lobby and upper floors’ common area.
Those buildings also have an attached one-car garage for each condo, while the units in the others have one assigned parking space each. Central air conditioning is in every condo. Most of these residences have ocean views from them.
Amenities & Things To Do Kolea’s Beach Club is an oceanfront facility for residents’ recreation and more. Along with a large main pool that looks out at the waves, there is a sand-bottomed kid’s pool and a spa ringed by lava rock. You also have an open-air fitness center pavilion and a path that leads right down to the beach. It even has two guest houses that can be used for visiting guests and relatives.
With
Anaehoomalu Beach (aka Waikoloa Beach) right off of your neighborhood, it’s a quick and easy trip to get into the waters for a swim in these reef-protected waters.
The smaller waves mean that stand up paddling is easier here as well.
Both the
King’s Shops, with about 40 stores and eateries inside, and the
Queen’s Marketplace, offering close to 50 more, are only about ½ mile up the road. You may be especially spending your time at Queen’s Marketplace due to the fact that it holds a three-screen movie theater and has the outdoor Waikoloa Bowl entertainment venue.
Concerts, hula shows and other events happen there regularly, which you can enjoy from its grass lawn.
