The Hapuna Beach Residences are at the very southern end of the
Mauna Kea Resort, separated from the Pacific by as little as 35 yards of lawn. The buildings were once part of what is now the
Westin Hapuna hotel, but was fully remodeled in 2020 to become individually owned residences.
Going from north to south, the A & B buildings are four stories and C is three stories. C is also closest to Hapuna Beach. These luxury condos’ interiors range from 669 to 3,543 Sq Ft with a lanai that looks right out to the ocean. Residences are all on the ocean side so you are guaranteed a totally unobstructed view of the waves.
The outside facing walls are made up of sliding, floor-to-ceiling windows so you can open your interior to the surroundings. On the ground floor, units each have their own private plunge pool. Residents have one or two assigned spaces in a secured, private parking garage that is entered near the Westin Hapuna hotel lobby. You can also use the valet parking service there. All residences have central air conditioning and each of the three buildings has an elevator to serve the upper floors.
Amenities & Things To Do The Big Island’s biggest white sand beach is a few yards from your home, making a quick dip or a stroll on the sands a very easy decision. This part of the shoreline is known for its excellent swimming conditions.
The Residences are connected by a mile-long walking path to the
Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, which has the Kaunaoa Beach (also called Mauna Kea Beach) in front of it.
Another destination for swimmers due to the smoother waters, it provides another ½ mile of sands to enjoy nearby. It's a popular evening stop, too, with the nightly feeding of manta rays, easy to watch due to the hotel floodlights.
