Halii Kai is a gated, oceanfront community that lies against the northern border of
Waikoloa Beach Resort. As the neighborhood goes to the shoreline, its southern side is lined by the
Beach Course’s entire 8th hole and part of the 6th.
The residences here are two and three bedrooms, with interiors of 1,430 to 1,677 Sq Ft. You also have one or two lanais of outside space. All two bedrooms are single-level, but the three bedroom floor plans are both one and two-stories. Parking varies, with many units having one or two space carports and three bedroom owners usually having a detached garage. Central air conditioning is in all residences. These buildings are walk-ups, so there are no elevators. Many of the residences have ocean views, the three directly oceanfront buildings having completely unobstructed lookouts onto the Pacific.
Amenities & Things To Do Halii Kai’s recreation center stands out even in Waikoloa. The
Ocean Club, which sits on the shoreline, offers a lot to residents to enjoy. The pool here is made up of levels where the water cascades down, adding a nice visual to your swim, plus there’s a small pool for the kids, too. The spa is even sandy-bottomed. You can also workout in the fitness cabana while looking out at the Pacific.
A tennis court and a basketball half-court are available, along with a ‘coconut grove’ that has hammocks, BBQs and grassy space to have a picnic. If you don’t want to cook for yourself, there’s even a private restaurant to take care of you.
Anaehoomalu Beach (aka Waikoloa Beach) is 1.3 miles south of you. Its calmer swells are just right for swimming or getting up on a paddle board.
It isn’t too much further to the resort’s shopping centers at
King’s Shops and
Queen’s Marketplace, which have dining options too. There’s even a movie theater at Queen’s Marketplace.
